Privacy
This page covers this website and the waiting list. Families who use Whetta, and the children whose profiles they add, are covered by the Whetta privacy notice instead. It says what is stored about children and how to delete it.
What we collect now
- Your email address, when you ask for an invitation.
- The date you asked, so invitations go out in order.
That is all. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies and no third-party scripts on this site. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees the request for the font files.
We also count visits to our public pages, without cookies. Each count records only the page, the website that linked to it, and any campaign tag in the link, and counts are added up per day. No IP address, device details or identifier is stored, and nothing is counted if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
We count new invitation requests by day and a general source label, such as Google Search or a Whetta campaign. These counts contain no email address or other identifier, and the source is not saved with your address. We use no cookies or browser storage for this, send no conversion data to Google, and respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
What we do with it
We write to you once when a place is ready. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we never share or sell the address.
Where it is kept
In our own systems on Amazon Web Services in the United States. The address is not passed to a third-party mailing or form service.
How long we keep it
Thirty days from the day you ask, then it is deleted automatically, whether or not an invitation went out. Places are limited, so if your turn has not come by then your request simply lapses and you are welcome to ask again. We would rather let an address go than hold one we never used.
Having it removed
Email hello@whetta.com and we will delete your address and confirm. You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain why.
Children
The waiting list is for parents and carers. Please do not submit a child's email address. Children's profiles are created by a parent inside Whetta, and the Whetta privacy notice covers them.

Whetta is a product of Blue Spinnaker Learning, which is the company responsible for the addresses collected here.
